It may look fun and exhausting but from someone who is out pedaling most days and sometimes on and off for hours at a time I can tell you first hand there are ups and downs to the best leg day in town.
Most people think it’s just riding a bike around, finding people to hop in and the money comes.
It’s so much more than that. The best way to describe being a pedicab driver is to think of it like fitness, tourism and hospitality all rolled into one.
There are days when it feels like one aspect may over take the other two or there are days when they all blend together.
There are pros and cons to this as well.
You get daily pay from the rides you give that way you aren’t waiting on a paycheck.
You never know what you will make each day you’re out but you’ll meet people, get a workout in, see things you won’t see while being stuck behind a desk or flipping burgers and generate leads for future rides just by being out.
The most rewarding part about this is being a part of the community and making a difference in people’s lives while providing a much needed service at key times during the day/night and at events.
