Tallahassee… a small town with a big heart!

Most people think of Tallahassee as a football and politics town but there is a lot that goes on in between those seasons and behind the scenes to make things happen in town year round.

Resources like COCA, Visit Tallahassee and Fun4TallyKids help keep us informed on what to do on an almost daily occurrence.

There is also a huge non profit presence in town. My mother is in charge of HERC and just got officially announced to take her work to a state wide level by being on a task force for Holocaust Education.

When Rotary stopped doing brew fest, a banker by day decided to step up and make beer fest happen. Ticket sales go towards a number of non profits.

We are getting our Pedal For A Cause initiative going again which involves guest drivers renting out the pedicabs during event shifts to bring tips in to a cause of their choice.

So the next time you think of Tallahassee, keep in mind that it’s more than meets the eye and a whole year of awesome to explore!
