Radically Authentic : Tales From The Streets Of Tallahassee

Block parties before home football games are nothing new but we wanted to give a history lesson in today’s edition.

The Adams Street Block Party took over what used to be the Downtown Get Downs which used to extend to the chain of parks by the double tree.

The Friday Night Block Party moved from Kleman Plaza to College town.

Contrary to popular belief those two events have always been separate and were never the same Block Party.

Bannerman entered the fray and started their own block party on the north side for those who didn’t want to make the trek over to downtown.

The newest block party is the Frenchtown rising for FAMU home games.

We hope this helped with any confusion over the years and thank you for reading today’s ted talk!
