Radically Authentic : Tales From The Streets Of Tallahassee

It still amazes us when Tallahassee is fixated on Football and Politics. There is so much more to this town than a 1 point game difference and a passed bill.

This week for example there’s open mic comedy nights, a lecture at ruby diamond, dueling pianos at township, the first domi awards at the craft house in railroad square, the sundown concert series at cascades park, a festival in railroad square and plenty of events we are missing.

Just because there is not a home football game doesn’t mean you should stay in. Win or lose we still have a whole local economy to support. Helping local businesses stay open is the real winning play.

The next time you are yelling at the tv, or in the stadium think of all of the hard work that goes into making sure there are no logistical issues in the stadium and thank a worker, player, coach, local pedicab driver, security worker, law enforcement, etc. for doing the work that most people wouldn’t want to.

That’s all for this edition, get out there and spread some positivity and kindness to each other!
