How has Tallahassee evolved over the years?

So much have changed in Tallahassee over the years. What made you want to run for office?

Civic engagement is the cornerstone of our democracy. Inclusion and relationship with the community and genuine outreach is part of my DNA.  I have always had a heart and yearning passion to see the betterment of my family, friends, community and world.  As a result, I ran for office to serve in a mission to help my community, state and nation as a priority in and over my life.
What are your goals if elected?

It has been an honor to serve the residents of District 8 in the Florida House of Representatives over the past 8 years. Running for Supervisor of Elections, this is something I take very seriously, making sure that here in Leon County we have an election process that is fair, efficient, engaging and accessible.  And, how best to deliver efficient election services to our community.  I will lead our Leon County Supervisor of Elections Office now and into the future. I am very qualified and capable for this position. I have the experience required to carry out the functions of this important position. My experience as a legislator, a proven, strong proponent of voting rights will make Leon County number one in the state for voter turnout. “Making voting work for people to ensure every vote counts, and every vote has a voice”.
