We are featuring Tom Flanigan. Here’s what he had to say about WFSU!
How has wfsu evolved over the years? WFSU-FM has always had a strong commitment to covering the legislature and state government, but over the past 10 years or so we’ve made a real effort to expand coverage of other events, people and organizations within our coverage area.
What do you want visitors and locals to know about Wfsu that they may not already know? Something folks may not know about the station is, with two main and several repeater transmitters located throughout the Florida Panhandle, we have one of the largest coverage areas of any public radio station in the country, encompassing a territory between Lake City and Destin.
What social media do you use (here’s your spot to promote)? Since our combined FM/TV/Florida Channel web site has so much content, we use platforms like Facebook and Twitter to drive online traffic to that primary site. However, we’re constantly reviewing our operations and procedures to stay on top of where our content consumers are so we can reach them there.
